Pune is renowned as the "Oxford of the East" since it is home to a many students. Students from all around the country travel to Pune for higher education, hence the bulk of the city's population is made up of young people. Because of this, the nightlife in this area is highly active. There are several cafes, restaurants, and other establishments. So, without further ado, here are some locations you might want to visit if you come to Pune!
Cultural/Historical Sites
Shaniwar Wada
Located in Shaniwar peth Pune, the Shaniwar wada is a historical fort, more than 300 years
old is definitely a must visit place which chronicles the glory and grandeur of the Maratha
Empire.

2. Aga Khan Palace
The huge lawns and the Italian architecture adds to the beauty of this place and because of places like this Pune is also known as the epicenter of history and culture.

Food
Food is a super important part of exploring any city and I can assure you that you will never run out of options to choose from when you are hungry.
Breakfast
By having a nice south Indian breakfast at Vaishali to enjoying a nice bun maska at the Goodluck cafe could be just the perfect start to your day and if you're a health conscious person then the Chafa café and Studio is the place for you, this new café serves health centric, fermented dishes and stuff that is good for your health.

Lunch
Shabree and Katakirr Misal are a few well reputed restaurants when it comes to authentic Maharashtrian food but on the contrary there are other options like Le Plaisir and Shizusan which offer Italian and Oriental cuisine respectively.

Gaming and Sports
Sunday morning football at Hotfut or being locked up in a room, solving a puzzle at Mystery rooms Pune with your friends would be a fun thing to do! Sky jumper trampoline park is also one of Pune's main places where you could spend some quality time with your friends/colleagues and ofcourse Gamerz Nation eSports is also an option for all the eSports lovers out there.

Nature/Trekking
Pune is surrounded by mountain ranges and hills that every weekend can lead you to a new place to explore. Amongst the most famous tekdis and hillocks of Pune, Parvati hills is one of the oldest. The view from the top is definitely worth the Trek so this could be a great way to get away from daily life and spend a nice morning experiencing the natural beauty of this city. There are so many forts around this city courtesy of its rich culture and history that you can almost plan a trek every weekend or month-end.

Apart from treks there are hill stations likes Lavasa, Malshej and Rajmachi which are just perfect weekend getaways from Pune. I would like to conclude by mentioning a few places alongside so many malls (to mention a few of them-Phoenix market city, Amanora mall, Seasons mall, the Pavillion) which are popular for students.
